Latin American Institute of Environmental Studies – ILLEA
The ILLEA Institute is an organization dedicated to community development and social promotion, prioritizing initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of the population. Its actions focus on promoting health, education, culture, and social assistance, always free of charge and complementary to public policies, contributing to the strengthening of families, children, adolescents, and communities in vulnerable situations.
The institution works in the creation and execution of cultural, environmental, educational, and artistic projects as instruments of social inclusion and the promotion of collective well-being. Among its objectives are also the qualification and professional development of individuals, favoring their integration and insertion into the labor market and encouraging the creation of opportunities that strengthen autonomy and citizenship.
The ILLEA Institute promotes fundamental values ??for society, such as ethics, peace, citizenship, and respect for human rights, contributing to the strengthening of democracy and the construction of a more just and supportive society. In this context, it develops and supports initiatives aimed at eradicating child labor and forced labor, combating hunger and poverty, and strengthening family farming.
Committed to sustainability, the Institute also promotes actions for the preservation and conservation of the environment and natural resources, developing environmental education projects, environmental studies, the recovery of degraded areas, and initiatives focused on the proper treatment of industrial, chemical, biological, and organic waste. Furthermore, it encourages projects related to the generation of carbon credits and sustainable development.
The institution also seeks to articulate and represent proposals of collective interest to the public sector, the private sector, and civil society, strengthening partnerships and expanding the impact of its actions. To enable its activities and projects, the ILLEA Institute raises funds nationally and internationally from public and private sources.
Through these initiatives, the ILLEA Institute reaffirms its commitment to human, social, and environmental development, contributing to the construction of more just, sustainable, and supportive communities.
Article 2 - The ILLEA Institute has the following purposes:
I. to support actions aimed at community development and social promotion, prioritizing those that aim to improve the living conditions of the population, the environment, the sustainable development of natural resources, families, children, adolescents, and underprivileged communities;
II. to promote health and education, completely free of charge, observing the complementary form of participation of the organization, as well as the culture and social assistance of its members and the community;
I. to promote the development of cultural, environmental, and artistic projects as instruments for social promotion and well-being of society;
2. to promote the qualification and professional development of people, providing their integration and insertion into the labor market;
3. to promote ethics, peace, citizenship, and human rights, for full and effective democracy and other universal values;
4. To promote the preservation and conservation of the environment and natural resources;
5. To articulate and represent proposals for actions of collective interest to the Public and Private Sectors and Civil Society, in accordance with its purpose;
6. To promote actions to eradicate child and slave labor;
7. To promote research, defense, and maintenance of family farming;
8. To promote and encourage the transformation of schools into centers of integration and community development;
9. To promote actions to combat hunger and poverty;
10. To promote scientific and technological research;
11. To promote environmental education actions, projects against degradation and environmental recovery;
12. To promote environmental studies and projects for the treatment of industrial, chemical, biological, and organic waste;
13. To promote actions in projects for the generation of carbon credits;
14. To raise funds, both nationally and internationally, from public and private sources, for the execution of its purposes;
15. To promote activities of associative organizations linked to culture and art.
