ILLEA – Roots of Knowledge Institutional Social Law Project
The Roots of Knowledge Project, developed by the Latin American Institute for Environmental Studies – ILLEA, promotes environmental education in schools by bringing children and young people closer to nature through knowledge, cultivation and appreciation of biodiversity.

The initiative seeks to encourage environmental care from an early age, showing that every plant cultivated is also an opportunity to learn, observe, care and transform.

The project values traditional knowledge, encouraging direct contact with nature and strengthening awareness of the importance of plants, biodiversity and environmental preservation.

Through educational activities and cultivation practices, Roots of Knowledge helps develop students who are more aware, responsible and committed to building a sustainable future.

Did you know? Every seed planted can represent a new discovery, a new lesson and a new way of caring for our planet.
